Florence - Firenze

Siena

Siena is a classic medieval hill town in Tuscany famous for its large fan-shaped piazza, Piazza del Campo, and summer horse-race, known as Il Palio. Siena's tall bell tower, Torre del Mangia, dominates the Piazza del Campo. Siena offers other good tourist sites including its cathedral and museums.

San Gimignano

San Gimignano, known as the City of Beautiful Towers, is a classic medieval walled hill town in Tuscany, famous for its 14 surviving medieval towers creating a beautiful skyline visible from the surrounding countryside.

Lucca

Pienza, designed to be the ideal city, is a pretty Renaissance town in the Val D'Orcia of Tuscany. Pienza is famous for its pecorino cheese, Piccolomini Palace, and balcony overlooking the beautiful Val D'Orcia, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Versilia - Tuscany's Coast

The beaches in the Versilia area of Tuscany's coast are characterized by clean water, interesting villages, and a background of the Apuan Alps, known for its famous marble production.

Duomo Group, Florence Italy - For some of the most amazing views of Florence, the cathederal provides two lookouts at Giottos' lithe and the belltower. The dome is a remarkable engineering feat  where th crossing was constructed as a double shell in 1420. 

San Gimignano, Tuscany - This is a magical ancient town in Tuscany comprised of at fourteen towers and numerous churches abound with romance and a large collection of 14th and 15th century art. While many of the tourists leave town on the buses at about 5:00, this wanderlust village is worthy of a night's stay.
